About the event

Shoot for the Stars” is the phrase that Bashar Barakah Jackson who became known to the world as Pop Smoke, lived by. He was shooting for the stars, but he was aiming for the moon.  This mindset is the platform which sparked his mission to share his passion and determination with other young people in his community.  He wanted to inspire them to work towards and manifest their dreams.

PTSD is created in the spirit of one of the four core values of the foundation, S.E.L.F. (sacred space, education, love, family), and is designed to support those young people “Pop” spoke about.  It is a gathering where the young people get an opportunity to discuss issues of concern to them, facilitated by mental health professionals. Special guests, entertainment and special activites will make the day exciting and impactful.

The event is free but you can support our cause with a $22 donation by clicking here
